Drag queens, pop, glitter... and zombies? Almost 60 years after George A. Romero gave his letters of nobility to zombies films, it's the turn of his daughter, Tina Romero, to give revenants a facelift in her first feature film. A group of drag queens attempt to put on a successful show despite their disagreements, but are forced to wait as zombies swarm the streets of Brooklyn. Tina Romero offers a jubilant, queer retelling of the zombie film, without forgetting its political dimension, this time charging against patriarchal, heteronormative society. The director can count on a flamboyant cast, including Katy O'Brian and drag queen Nina West, for a spectacle as gory as it is hilarious.
