The pioneering mixed-reality installation Playing with Fire: An Immersive Odyssey with Yuja Wang introduces a bold, new concert experience. Combining live recital, visual art, spatialised sound, mixed reality and volumetric capture, the experience pushes the boundaries of musical performance and conjures a fascinating dialogue between the physical and virtual realms.

Pierre-Alain Giraud is a director of immersive works and co-founder of Novaya. He co-directed Noire, which won an award at Cannes in 2024, and directed Björk’s music video Victimhood. He is currently creating Playing with Fire, an immersive experience featuring Yuja Wang, to be presented at the Philharmonie de Paris starting in November 2025.
