What can we learn from recent environmental disasters? The violence of 21st-century floods is at the heart of this interactive documentary, which strikes a chord and raises awareness.

A straightforward ecological narrative, Out of Nowhere confronts us with the impact of humans on their environment through several virtual reality scenes, which are alternately playful and exploratory. Whether you find yourself in the middle of a destroyed village or in front of a model reconstructing a key episode of the 2021 floods in Austria, within minutes you will understand the violence of these ecological events on our daily lives. It is by measuring this impact that the discussion begins to understand how to adapt our lifestyles to nature, and not the other way around.
