Stéphanie infiltrates a high-tech company to clear her mother's name, whom she believes to be the victim of a deepfake. An investigation that ventures to the heart of contemporary technological concerns.
At a time when artificial intelligence is increasingly blurring the lines between reality and the digital, the Dansereau-Piérard family, known in Canada for their work in audiovisuals, seize on this topical issue for their captivating new series. A video of Stéphanie's mother making abusive and racist comments leaks onto social networks and threatens her political campaign. For Stéphanie, played by Canadian Sophie Nélisse, it must be a deepfake, even if it seems undetectable. So she poses as an accountant to investigate the Efek company, which she suspects of being behind the scheme. A chilling, forward-looking thriller about the potential digressions of artificial intelligence.
