Journalist Anna chases a legendary stolen painting just to unveil her family’s dangerous secrets.

Investigative journalist Anna, scarred by her father’s disappearance 30 years ago, learns that his body has surfaced in Lake Lugano. As she discovers evidence that link him to the legendary theft of Caravaggio’s masterwork in his homeland Sicily, she probes Lugano’s shady art world and discovers the story she grew up with was a lie. Chasing ever more disconcerting clues, Anna unravels her family’s links to Mafia crime. Her digging sparks violence in Lugano and threatens those she loves – until she faces a shocking truth. In order to survive Anna must take an impossible decision.
