OLD BOY X BARAKA

Can we wait for a delivery like some people wait for the Messiah? For the hero of this virtual reality fiction, it is the main subject of a lonely and isolated existence.
Partners

A virtual reality fiction, Korstmos delves into the life of a man who is completely isolated, confined to his apartment. With almost maniacal precision, he prepares for the arrival of a delivery person, which he awaits as if it were a major event, losing himself in meticulous rituals as he waits for the simple ring of the doorbell. Directed by Tibor de Jong (aka Nemo Vos, who previously attended GIFF 2024 with 8 Billion Selves), this sensory journey combines hyperrealistic images and spatialized sounds to explore loneliness, the perception of time, and the boundaries between the inner and outer worlds.
