A teenager drives at full speed to escape a suffocating reality. A snake accompanies him, pushing him to remember: a cheap perfume, a torn nail, Super 8 films, an unstable father. Between roads, blurry memories, and slot machines, wounds resurface. Family Crash is a mental road movie in VR, inspired by true events.

Patrick Muroni

Patrick Muroni is a Swiss director graduated from ECAL. His first short film, Un matin d’été, was selected at Locarno in 2020. He followed with Les Sentinelles, then Ardente·x·s, a documentary feature selected at Visions du Réel and released in theaters. In 2024, he presented Rave, a VR work on raves, selected at GIFF, Annecy, and Rotterdam. He is currently developing a fiction feature and a new VR experience.
