AMÉLIE X THE MENTALIST

Denise is a life coach with a real gift for listening: she is actually telepathic and can hear every thought of those she talks to. A mischievous series about society's pretences.
Who hasn't wanted to know what the person sitting in front of them is thinking, at least once? This power of telepathy has been part of Denise's everyday life since her early childhood. A disillusioned life coach who is very attentive to her patients, whose thoughts she constantly hears —from mythomaniacs to perverts to people who are consistent in what they say— she lives alone with her friend Joy, a former porn star. Denise wonders if it is still possible to seek happiness and live in society with the gift of lucidity that she possesses. Emmanuelle Destremau and Bruno Merle present their narrative and formal variation on the psychologist series through a number of sound experiments, highlighted by the sharp sarcasm of actresses Camille Rutherford and Sabrina Ouzani.
