Through the lens of American filmmaker Julien Bryan, witness the hope and resilience of ordinary people in postwar Central Europe. From ruins, funerals, orphans, reconstruction and new propaganda, 1945-48 saw Nazism replaced by Soviet rule – shaking faith in the future and demanding new resilience.

Milosz Hermanowicz is a film editor, a writer, an immersive images tech specialist, a XR director.
His short film Red Lady 3D won the Grand Prix at the Courant 3D IFF 2014 in France and was distributed by UniFrance on the blu-ray French 3D. He then directed two VR360 films: After the apocalypse (2016) and Deep Dive (2020), the first VR live-action narrative experience produced at Lodz Film School, Poland. All 3 projects were presented at international festivals.
