On our website 2025.giff.ch, and at the Central Ticket Office at the Maison Communale de Plainpalais (Rue de Carouge 52, 1205 Geneva), Cinérama Empire (Rue de Carouge 72-74, 1205 Genève) and Maison des Arts du Grütli (Rue du Général-Dufour 16, 1204 Genève).

No, for security reasons we don’t take reservations by phone or e-mail.

If you have purchased a GIFF Pass, you don’t need to print your tickets, they are directly integrated into your Pass. You will receive your digital GIFF Pass by email. You will just have to present the QR code from your phone.  

You can still pick it when the Festival opens, at one of our Ticketing Office: at the Central Ticket Office of the Maison communale de Plainpalais (Rue de Carouge 52, 1205 Genève)or  at the Maison des Arts du Grütli (Rue du Général-Dufour 16, 1204 Geneva or

If you bought a ticket online, you will receive it by email. You will just have to present the QR code from your phone or print it out.

You will receive your dematerialized accreditation by e-mail. You will be able to pick it up on 31 October at the Maison Communale de Plainpalais (Rue Henri-Christiné 7, 1205 Geneva).

  • Go to 2025.giff.ch and choose your screening on the PROGRAM page.
  • Click on the event of your choice and under BOOK A TICKET you can choose the date, price and quantity of tickets. 
  • Click on ADD TO MY CART.
  • The message Thank you, your order is saved in your cart for 30 minutes.
  • Click on PROGRAM, if you want to buy tickets for other screenings, otherwise click on ADD TO CART.
  • The page with your CART opens with all your reservations on the left. 
  • To delete a reservation, click on the yellow cross on the right. To delete your entire order, click on Cancel my order. 
  • To finalize your order, fill in all the fields in PAYMENT INFORMATIONS, then TO THE PAYMENT PROCEED.  
  • You will be redirected to the payment page, follow the information. 
  • You will receive an e-mail with your ticket. If you have not received this e-mail within an hour, please check that it has not arrived in your spam folder. If you have not received it, write to billetterie@giff.ch. 
  • Go to 2025.giff.ch then click on TICKETING.
  • On the left, under BUY PASS, click on GIFF PASS and choose the rate. 
  • Fill in all the fields requested in PASS HOLDER INFORMATIONS.
  • Click on ADD TO CART.
  • The page with your CART opens with all your reservations on the left. 
  • To delete a reservation, click on the yellow cross on the right. To delete your entire order, click on Cancel my order. 
  • To finalize your order, fill in all the fields in PAYMENT INFORMATIONS, then TO THE PAYMENT PROCEED.  
  • You will be redirected to the payment page, follow the information. 
  • You will receive an e-mail with your ticket. If you have not received this e-mail within an hour, please check that it has not arrived in your spam folder. If you have not received it, write to billetterie@giff.ch. 

The problem may be with your browser. Our IT technicians recommend using Google Chrome. If the problem persists, try again in private browsing.

Also make sure you have disabled your ad blocker if you have added one to your browser, as well as your Internet connection.

Check  in your spam folder. If it is not there, write to us at billetterie@giff.ch.

A purchased online or at the ticket desk guarantees your entry and the reservation of your seat. All you have to do is present the QR code that you received in PDF by email, at the entrance.   

No refunds or exchanges will be made.

After your purchase, you will receive an email with a link to download your pass. Check your spam folder if you didn’t receive a confirmation email after your purchase.

It is imperative to reserve your seat before the screening. The GIFF Pass allows you to attend all the events of the Festival, within the limit of available seats. It is personal and non-transferable. It allows only one person to enter the hall for each event.

No refunds or exchanges will be made.

  • Go to the Ticketing icon (coupon symbol) at the top right of the website.
  • Enter your TicketID credentials to log in. The details of your Pass or 5/10-entry card will appear automatically.

  • Click on “Book with your subscription”

  • Select the screening of your choice, then click on “Book a seat with this ticket”

  • You can find all your bookings under the Ticketing tab.

  • To cancel a booking, you can also do so from the same tab.

 

  • Go to 2025.giff.ch.
  • Click on TICKETING and enter your Ticket ID, then LOGIN.
  • Click on MY BOOKINGS.
  • You are redirected to your account.
  • Your reservations are on the left side of the screen.
  • Click on the red button Cancel, if you are unable to attend.

Yes, it is imperative to book the sessions of your choice. Without, we cannot guarantee access to the rooms.

No, you can also buy your tickets at the GIFF ticket office, as soon as the Festival opens.

No, Passes and accreditations are personal and non-transferable. They only allow the holder of the pass or accreditation to enter the hall. In case of fraudulent use, they will be confiscated.

No, tickets purchased are neither returned nor exchanged, according to our terms and conditions. If you have a Pass, simply go to MY BOOKINGS and click on the red button Cancel.

Yes, we accept Chèques Culture at the Central Ticket Office of the Maison des Arts du Grütli and at the Maison Communale de Plainpalais. 

It is highly recommended to arrive at least 30 to 45 minutes before the screening/event.

If you are absent 5 minutes before the start of the screening/event, your seats will be reallocated. From then on, access to the hall will only be authorized within the limits of available seats. The Festival reserves the right to refuse entry to latecomers – even if they have a valid ticket – without refund or exchange.

  • Series for which subsequent episodes are available on play.giff.ch are marked on our website with the banner “ONSITE & ONLINE”.
  • These are series presented in the Future Is Sensible Competition and the International Series Competition.
  • The first episodes of these series are available exclusively in theaters; only subsequent episodes are available online.
  • You will find your Play GIFF code on your individual ticket for the corresponding series or on your pass or accreditation.
  • Please note that it is essential that the ticket, pass, or accreditation has been scanned during the screening where you watched the first episodes.
  • The platform will be accessible from October 31 to November 30, 2025. Once the series has started online, the episodes will be available for 96 hours (4 days).
  • You can watch several series during the same period, as the 96-hour time limit is individual for each series.
  • The next episodes of each series will be available on our platform play.giff.ch on the evening of the theater screening.
